EA Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Gatekeeper and first point of contact for principal
- Extensive diary management and occasional event management
- Facilitating travel arrangements, including flights, trains, hotels, restaurants and taxis
- Overseeing expenses
- Handling all calls affably and efficiently
- Liaising with other assistants/PAs as part of a broader team
- Scheduling appointments and board meetings, both internally and externally
- Updating and filing corporate documents
- Client management, including meeting and greeting, conflicts, contracts and billing
- Administrative tasks, including booking meeting rooms and lunches, filing and arranging team events
- Collation and preparation of presentations, proposals and contracts using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Minute taking
- Managing inboxes and email correspondence
- Overseeing incoming and outgoing post and courier deliveries
- Maintaining contact database
Essential requirements:
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent. A degree-level qualification would be advantageous, but is by no means essential
- Excellent grasp of the English language
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong speed typing ability

- Proactive and able to work under pressure
- Excellent ability to prioritise and pre-empt requirements
- Understanding of the importance of discretion
