Operations Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for one of our clients who specialise in engineering and consultancy, based in the heart of London. They were established in 2020 and are rapidly growing. Looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager who will support the Directors and senior management team alongside company wide administration, ensuring HR standards are met and improving management information across all levels of the business. You will be the go-to person for any queries within the business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the teams with establishing processes to automate and improve efficiency in day-to-day operational tasks
• Support senior management with meetings and any other ad hoc admin
• Manage HR standards including the staff on-boarding process
• Oversee workplace Health & Safety
• Oversee team production of LinkedIn posts, preparation of case studies for marketing/website and keeping content up to date
• Plan and manage social events within the business
• Generate ideas to encourage efficiency, role enjoyment and collaboration across the business
• Support staff in maintaining and enhancing training & skills

WHO YOU ARE

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve the business
• Extremely organised with great communication skills
• Reliable/ trustworthy
• Ability to work well cross teams and individually

 
Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in an Operations Manager role
• HR experience and or HR qualifications are desirable
• Experience in a business support/ executive assistant role would be advantageous
• Experience working in a consultancy/ Real Estate / small business would be beneficial

This will be full time 5 days in the office for the initial settling in period of  1-3 months and will then go down to 3 days in the office/ 2 days from home.

Office hours are 8:30-5pm.
