Senior Interior Designer- Commercial and Residentia Projects

Our client is looking for a Senior Interior Designer who will play a pivotal role in driving design projects to excellence. You will lead the design process from concept development to project completion, collaborating with clients, architects, and the design team to deliver exceptional interior environments. Your creativity, leadership, and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our projects reflect our commitment to innovation and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Lead and oversee the design process, from initial concept development through to design documentation and execution.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and preferences, ensuring their objectives are met.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
- Space Planning: Develop space plans and layouts that maximize functionality, flow, and aesthetic appeal.
- Material and Finish Selection: Curate and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting that align with the project's design concept and budget.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
- Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of design concepts.
- Quality Control: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and quality standards are met throughout the construction process.
- Trend Research: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials to enhance design innovation.
- Client Presentations: Create compelling presentations to communicate design concepts and progress to clients effectively.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in interior design or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership abilities and experience managing a design team.
- A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
- Membership in a relevant professional association (e.g., ASID or IIDA) is a plus
