Project Manager- Blockchain (Mandarin Speaker)

Dubai, UAE SALARY: 20,000 AED - 20,000 AED PER: Month TERM: Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for blockchain projects, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.

2. Project Oversight: Provide leadership and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project milestones, budget, and quality standards.

3. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate project progress, and address concerns or issues proactively.

4. Technical Guidance (preferred but optional): Offer technical expertise and guidance on blockchain technologies, including distributed ledger systems, smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms, to inform project decisions and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks by conducting thorough risk assessments, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and maintaining awareness of regulatory compliance requirements.

6. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment, and providing mentorship and support to team members as needed.

7. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, informing strategic decision-making and project direction.

8. Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to blockchain and cryptocurrency projects, including AML regulations, KYC procedures, and data protection laws, through proactive risk management and adherence to industry standards.

 

Job Requirements:

 1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in blockchain technology, project management, or a relevant discipline preferred.

2. Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in the blockchain industry, with a proven track record of success in project management, operations, or development roles.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in blockchain technology, including understanding of distributed ledger systems, smart contracts, and cryptography. Familiarity with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or others is required.

4. Strong project management skills, including planning, executing, and monitoring complex projects.

5. Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills. Language proficiency in Mandarin is a must as the candidate needs to communicate with the overseas stakeholders and the internal department too.

6. Market Analysis: Proven ability to conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and risks, informing strategic decision-making and project direction.

 7. Compliance Knowledge(optional but preferred): Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to blockchain and cryptocurrency projects, including AML regulations, KYC procedures, and data protection laws, with a commitment to maintaining compliance throughout project implementation.
