HR Administrator - onboarding – Birmingham

£17-20 per hour

On-going temp role

 

An exciting time to join a leading investment bank in Birmingham, with a focus on the on-boarding of temporary and permanent staff.

 

 

An internationally recognised investment bank are looking for a polished, results-driven and motivated professional, with around 2-3 years of experience within financial services, to join their team.

 

This role will be office-based 5 days per week, and the expected hours are 9am – 5pm, with flexibility needed at times.

 

They currently have a small, international team in place and require additional support to help manage a very large population of staff. This support will include day to day operational assistance, project support and specifically onboarding of staff – managing the whole lifecycle from start to finish and ensuring the whole process is faultless.

 

In order to be considered for this role, they are looking for people who have experience of working in financial services for at least 2 years, in a role that includes onboarding of staff, strong stakeholder / relationship management and the ability to juggle many priorities at any one time.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • On-boarding of permanent and temporary staff using their third party ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
  • Raising requests for new staff requirements
  • Initiate transfers and follow-ups
  • Monitor and keep track of background checks for upcoming new starters
  • Manage a wide variety of initiatives for senior leadership
  • Develop management presentations
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of key programs to address audit findings and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the division’s workforce strategy and organisational design
  • Manage the divisions communication strategy and drive the external outreach strategy

 

Who you are:

 

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services will be a necessity to ensure familiarity with terminology and best practice
  • Strong stakeholder / relationship management
  • Strong communication skills – listening, written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects whilst focusing on the quality of work delivered
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Results-driven and pro active
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
