Senior Accountant - SAP

Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a renowned Swiss cosmetics business. You will have knowledge across all ares of Finance, ideally within a consumer lead environment and have good knowledge of SAP, together with advanced English and French languages.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Managing budgeting, forecasting/planning and cost control.
• Preparing management reports on cashflow, identify reasons for deviations, and propose preliminary recommendations for management review.
• Maintaining all areas of bookkeeping, including payables, receivables, banking, credit cards, and bank and suppliers' reconciliations.
• Performing periodic filings independently to Swiss tax authorities, including VAT, income tax, and social security.
• Managing the preparation of the local payroll.
• Preparation of statutory reporting and external audit

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in financial functions, such as accounting, external auditing, finance controlling and financial reporting
• Business administration training (Bachelor's level, specialising in accounting or finance or KV with corresponding further training in accounting/finance)
• Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Experience within the consumer based, FMCG or retail industries
• Very good knowledge of French and English (additional languages including German an advantage)
• Careful, independent way of working combined with quick comprehension; ability to work under pressure and a pronounced
