Digital Learning Multimedia Designer

This role will require you to create content for a multitude of digital learning formats, such as websites, edutainment learning, corporate television experiences, metaverse VR, eLearning, social media, etc. You will need to work closely with other cross department multimedia artists throughout the production process.

Your other responsibilities will include conducting research and selecting organizing materials. The ideal candidate has the ability to use desktop and electronic publishing software, graphic design, page layout, and multimedia software to help them create content. Having previous experience working as a Multimedia Writer is a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

• Creating content for more than one form of media, including magazines, video games, websites, film and television, online advertising, or online academic courses
• Creating content for motion pictures, radio and television broadcasts, and similar types of performance
• Liaising with other multimedia artists throughout the production process
• Combining text with graphics, audio, and film clips
• Using desktop and electronic publishing software to create content
• Developing scripted material for the Web and other communication devices
• Collaborating with editors to revise and rewrite sections

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Web Design, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communication, and Digital Design
• Previous experience in multimedia writing
• User experience
• Basic programming skills, how to use hypertext, for example
• Working knowledge of using computer-aided design (CAD) software, video and photo editing programs, and Web development software
• Familiarity with using graphic design, page layout, and multimedia software
• Outstanding critical thinking and reading comprehension skills
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Critical thinking and reading comprehension skills
• Ability to welcome feedback from editors
