What is Emiratisation?

Emiratisation (or Emiratization) is an UAE Government initiative that aims to increase employment opportunities for Emiratis and ensure their ongoing contribution to the economy. It affects both the public and private sector, but it especially applies to the latter, with companies with more than 100 employees obliged to meet a UAE national quota.
