Houseman

Our client a HNW Principal with multiple residences in New York City is looking for an experienced Houseman to assist in the managing, maintaining, and cleaning of their Manhattan homes to ensure that they are always prepared and ready for guests.

As the Houseman you would be working on general housekeeping duties but also working on other tasks such as property inspections and running errands. You would be reporting to the Principal’s Head of Operations. This role also could evolve into management of the housekeeping team as well.

Responsibilities

• Conducting household inspections
• General cleaning, organization, laundry, and ironing
• Overseeing contractors within the properties
• Running errands as needed
• Inventory / stock of household items
• Deep cleaning as needed
• Responsibility of client’s keys

Candidate
Their ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working in high-end and fast paced homes, comfortability with taking directions and instructions in certain situations. You must also be comfortable working with others and a good communicator, a no task is too small attitude and proactive, adaptable, and flexible. Maintaining the highest level of confidence, confidentiality and professionalism with strong time management and problem-solving skills, along with being computer and tech savvy.
