Job Description:
As the Head of Communications with a PR focus, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our brand reputation and support our business objectives. You will lead a talented team of communication professionals and work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment with company goals and messaging. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in PR, particularly with experience working with government entities in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of communication initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, government entities, and other stakeholders to promote positive coverage and manage public perception.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and other materials to support PR campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Legal, and HR, to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Serve as the company spokesperson, representing the organization in media interviews, press conferences, and public events.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in communications and PR.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in communications and PR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns, particularly within the government sector in Riyadh.
- Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
