Job Description:
As the Head of Communications with a PR focus, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our brand reputation and support our business objectives. You will lead a talented team of communication professionals and work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment with company goals and messaging. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in PR, particularly with experience working with government entities in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of communication initiatives.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, government entities, and other stakeholders to promote positive coverage and manage public perception.
  4. Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and other materials to support PR campaigns and initiatives.
  5. Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Legal, and HR, to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
  7. Serve as the company spokesperson, representing the organization in media interviews, press conferences, and public events.
  8. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in communications and PR.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in communications and PR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns, particularly within the government sector in Riyadh.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
