John has over a decade of recruiting experience, with most of his career focused on identifying business support talent for C-level executives, as well as finding top personal assistants, estate managers, and other private staff for high-net-worth households. He regularly works with private equity and venture capital firms, law firms, and tech startups, as well as prominent individuals and family offices across the country.
Prior to joining Tiger, John was the Director of Recruitment for a New York staffing firm. He managed the firm’s temporary staffing, including for major financial institutions, as well as overseeing permanent placements for its business support and private divisions. His earlier experience includes executive recruitment for private equity firms as well as staffing for major companies in banking, media, and consumer goods. He graduated with a BA in English and Government from New York University, and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, and is admitted to the New York Bar.
What makes you fiercely distinctive?
I feel like one of the last of my generation to still consistently wear a suit and tie to work every day. Once upon a time it signaled conformity—now it’s almost rebellious.
