Anna started her art career with a BA in Art History and a Masters at the Courtauld Institute. Between her studies she worked at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Christie’s in London and the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. She also completed a diploma in art law and holds a law degree.
Prior to establishing her independent art consultancy, Anna worked as Associate Director and Head of Research for a leading London art dealer for six years.
Since becoming an independent art consultant, Anna has offered both commercial and curatorial services, advising private collectors and institutions on the sale or acquisition of paintings, sculptures, drawings and works of art, as well as representing their interests at auctions around the world and negotiating private treaty sales. Anna speaks Swedish, Italian, German and French.
Anna can help your principal establish or maintain their art collection, sourcing, buying and selling paintings, sculptures, drawings and works of art. She can oversee all practicalities involved with managing an art collection, ranging from storage and shipping to insurance and installation.
Additionally, Anna assists with the careful continued maintenance of collections by arranging restoration, re-framing and lighting, and creates comprehensive inventories to record the location, history and value of a collection for insurance, probate or general organisational or inheritance purposes.
