Workplace Assistant
£20 p/h plus holiday
6 months temporary position

My client is a global tech firm based in London and the USA. They are looking for a Workplace Assistant to join them on a temporary position in their London office Monday-Friday. You will be required to provide hands-on supportive assistance for all of the employees in the assigned office while reporting into the Head of Real Estate and Workplace services.

What you'll do:

  • Be the first point of contact for overseeing daily operations of the office and answering employee queries
  • Supervise day-to-day office requirements, including managing office supplies, storage and inventory
  • Processes of monthly expenses
  • On-boarding processes for new starters
  • Events management such as; client entertainment and social/team events
  • Arrange all meetings, including logistics such as booking conference calls and meeting rooms

Skills required:

  • Administrative and technical skills
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and capable of multi-tasking
  • You take initiative to ask the questions that are necessary to solve an issue
  • Proactive ‘can-do’ approach
