Travelling Nanny/ Governess for UHNW Family, London & Dubai

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced, flexible, and professional Nanny/Governess for an international UHNW family initially based in London. 

The role will involve some travel to start with at the beginning of Summer then later this year the family is relocating to Dubai.  

The family are looking to appoint a Nanny/Governess to assist them with the care of their 3-year-old girl, and their two sons aged 6 & 8.

This role is taking over from a Nanny that's been with the family for over 8 years now, hence they are looking for a kind, warm, caring, discreet, and trustworthy Nanny/Governess who ideally has experience in education, along with early childhood teaching experience and be able to commit for long term employment.

The clients are business professionals, but also very hands-on parents who like to spend quality time with their children, so the role will be a mix of sole-charge and shared care. 

The boys enjoy football, and the little girl has just started swimming, so a Nanny who will get involved, a good swimmer and enjoys being in the water is highly desired.

Duties will include coordinating all after-school activities, such as setting up play dates, preparing healthy snacks, going to parks and on cultural excursions, etc. 

You will have a good overview and understanding of the school’s curriculum and assist the children with homework, liaising with the school and teachers where necessary.

The ideal candidate will be confident and can work independently, also fit, energetic, engaging, and fun. Someone who loves exploring new things and be able to maintain a good balance between homework, sports, and playtime. 

This is a live out position with accommodation provided whilst living in Dubai or when travelling.

Flexibility to work on weekends and overnights is required. The family travel during the year and would want the Nanny/Governess to travel with them when necessary. 

Being pet-friendly is an essential requirement as they have a dog at the family residence. 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Minimum 5 years of private Nanny/Governess experience caring for young children

Early childhood education qualifications and/or teaching experience

Kind, warm, engaging, and caring nature

Full & clean driving license

Patient, easy-going, and happy to be flexible

Valid DBS check and Paediatric first aid training

Discreet, reliable, and enthusiastic

Energetic, organised, and responsible

Happy to be able to work autonomously

English speaking and ideally also able to speak Swedish/Finnish

Travel ready

Excellent checkable references
