Training Consultant – Commercial Procurement

UK (regional) SALARY: £38,000 - £42,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Training Consultant for an accredited training centre based in the Oxford area. Primarily based in the office in Oxford you may be asked to travel to provide training in person to some clients. This role will be on a full-time and permanent basis and the company offers a great benefits package including a healthcare cash plan, reward gateway and vouchers for Specsavers.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training of commercial procurement face to face, virtually or hybrid in a highly engaging way
  • Assisting in the design of training and development of innovative and cost-effective learning and development solutions
  • Keeping an up-to-date report of trainings provided
  • Any other duties which may be required to fulfil this role
  • Work on ad hoc projects within the department as and when needed
  • Advising stakeholders on available solutions that meet their learning needs

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience in developing and delivering specialised training in a corporate environment
  • Proven knowledge and credibility of commercial procurement
  • Excellent communicator, a fast learner, and someone who is empathetic and hard working
  • A true advocate for Learning and Development, demonstrating a willingness to develop own skills and learn from other members of the team
  • Ability to create and develop a range of eLearning, face-to-face and virtual training to a wide audience
  • CIPS/MCIPS or World Commerce and contracting membership is desirable
