London (City of) SALARY: £20 - £23 PER: Hour TERM: Temporary

Our client, a leading global investment bank with stunning offices in London, alongside offices in all major financial centres around the world, are looking for a Trade Floor PA / Team Assistant to join their front office!

This role will involve supporting various teams for the first 6-8 weeks, which is a brilliant way of getting to know different people, and you will then be allocated a static team to support after this time. Teams tend to consist of 4-5 Managing Directors, with a wider team of 20-25, so you must be happy juggling multiple tasks and working under pressure!


  • Diary and calendar management
  • Coordinating and scheduling of meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
  • Managing high volume of phone calls and emails, relaying information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and VCs across multiple locations
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for the team, including: Visa applications, International flight and accommodation bookings and car bookings
  • Expense management and preparation
  • Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
  • Supporting teams in day to day issues, needs and queries
  • Providing phone / holiday coverage for colleagues


  • You must have experience of working as a Team Assistant within Financial Services, supporting a team of 10+ people.
  • Experience of working as a PA / Team Assistant on the Trade Floor would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks
  • Demonstrate dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task
  • Display a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone and by e-mail to various levels
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels, internally and externally
  • Must be a team player that works well under pressure within a changing environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teams
  • Be resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issues
  • Pro-active attitude when managing diaries
  • Discretion to deal with confidential business matters
  • Friendly and approachable with can do, muck in attitude.


Experience of working as a Trade Floor PA / Team Assistant is preferred, but they will also consider Team Assistants from financial services who have supported teams of 10+ people in a high-pressure and fast paced environment!
