Team Administrator

Must have GCSE Maths & English at Level 5 / Grade B or above

Leading Accountancy firm

6-month fixed term contract, with potential to extend

Up to £30k per annum

 

We are currently working with a leading accountancy firm based in the City of London who are looking for a bright, capable, switched on Team Administrator to start ASAP.

 

The team are described as friendly yet professional and ths role is the result of growth in the team and therefore additional support is needed.

 

They require someone to be office-based 5 days per week, working 9:15 - 5:15, although flexibility can be offered such as starting at 8 am and finishing at 4 pm. After the initial 6 months, some flexibility may be offered in terms of hybrid working with 1-2 days from home.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO;

 

  • Provide support to management
  • Organise the team diary, including scheduling meetings, social events, ordering lunches etc.
  • Take ownership of the team meetings, booking the meetings, preparing the agenda, and circulating action points.
  • Draft announcements for the firm’s Intranet.
  • Process team expenses.
  • Assist with reports and data requests as required.
  • Assist with the review of the annual compliance forms and follow up any outstanding points.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of the Performance Review process as required.
  • Assist with organising Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Wellbeing events.
  • Schedule Staff Forum meetings and take notes.
  • Schedule the Trainee Forum meetings and take notes.

 

WHO YOU ARE;

 

  • GCSE Maths & English at Level 5 or Grade B or above
  • Strong administration skills and experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team player; organised; works well under pressure; proactive; quick learner; flexible.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people across different levels.
  • MS Office Suite (advanced Outlook, Word and Excel essential).
  • Able to communicate succinctly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive with the ability to work on own initiative, but also as part of a team.
