Tax Manager

Overview

Tiger Recruitment is partnered with a company that is half venture capital and half family office. They primarily invest in late-stage internet companies and are looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented, and diligent Tax Manager to provide support for various projects and initiatives globally. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, refined interpersonal and communication skills, and a high level of discretion with impeccable attention to detail. We are seeking someone who thinks outside the box, solves problems creatively, and approaches challenges with a can-do attitude. This is a hybrid position.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Strong focus on US Tax Compliance and reporting (Federal Form 1065 and Schedule K-1/K-3), with a solid understanding of US outbound taxation rules
• Coordinate with Big 4 Tax Advisors to review work and deliverables, including tax filings for jurisdictions outside of the US
• Collaborate with internal teams on tax compliance, preparation and execution, including Legal and Finance

 
Requirements:

• Accounting degree (Master’s degree preferred but not required) and CPA license.
• A minimum of 6 years’ direct experience with tax accounting, partnership and corporate tax, and tax compliance (with at least 1 year of Big 4 experience in manager role).
• A combination of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience is preferable.
• Experience with, or knowledge of, various withholding forms and withholding certificates (including Forms W-8/W-9, 1099, 1042 series, CRS self-certification, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to coordinate work across different time zones.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
