Overview

Our client, a renowned global Leisure and Hospitality business based in Basel are looking for a Senior Network Engineer / Architect to join the Global IT infrastructure team to coordinate and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of the networks.

As a key member of the global IT Infrastructure team, the Senior Network Engineer will play a critical role in improving Networks and Communications platforms across all products.

Main responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls, next-generation firewalls, and other security products.
• Take care of the end-to-end communications design and development incorporating RF systems, IP networks, OSS/BSS, and development
• Oversee the Continuous Service improvement and service delivery documentation.
• Lead the Network Service Providers and provide guidelines for troubleshooting and resolving network issues to ensure the stable and efficient operation of the network.
• Monitoring KPIs and continuously optimize traffic shaping patterns.
• Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure that the network meets business needs and complies with industry standards.
• Monitoring network performance and optimizing network configurations to improve performance and guests’ satisfaction.
• Keeping abreast of new technologies and trends in network engineering and identifying opportunities for the organization to improve its network capabilities.

Your skills:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience working with Palo Alto Networks products in global organisations.
• Familiar with Panorama and experience implementing templates and template stacks
• Advanced Network analysis and robust troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with various satellite communication systems
• CCIE / PCNSE or similar certification
• Fluent in English both written and verbal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information.
