Remote, Shore-based ETO, South-East London

Tiger Private is looking for a Remote, shore-based ETO, to assist an UHNW family with AVIT and support them to ensure the smooth running of their fixed and mobile assets.

Whilst the role is predominantly run remotely, the chosen candidate should be based within close proximity to South-East London, to allow them to easily access the Principal’s main residence if required.

This position requires someone who can be flexible whilst the role gets established, but on the plus side, there’s an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to define this role for themselves and make it their own.

The chosen candidate will be employed by the client’s family office. They will work alongside the families existing ETO to provide support to the principals and their family.

The work plan is to be discussed but, after a period of training and onboarding, but it likely to run to a schedule of 5 days of 3 days off or 4 days on 4 days off, alternating with the existing ETO to ensure full coverage.

Day to day duties include; providing remote support for users, working with the house managers to ensure services are available, media management, planning and management of AVIT projects, and “triage” of AVIT issues around the organisation.

This role would suit either someone experienced looking to transition from working onboard Yachts to a land-based role, or someone talented and ambitious who might be looking to eventually move to position on yachts or overseas.

Ideally, you will have proven experience of working in AVIT support onboard yachts or of supporting UHNWs in their Private homes.

Required skills:

Fundamental IT knowledge –a strong grasp of general IT techniques/AV is a must

Adaptability – you will need to jump from remotely fixing a private jet’s wifi to acquiring an unknown film and re-setting passwords

Networking – This really forms the core of the role. A CCNA equivalent level of knowledge is a requirement for this position

SD-WAN Network Management

User device remote support

AV Project Management

Remote AVIT Troubleshooting.

Everything across the Principals homes and assets has been designed, as much as possible, to be remotely administered with remote access software, VPNs, remote power etc.

The role will offer a fantastic opportunity to travel on occasion, to destinations including to the U.S, Europe & the Caribbean, for which accommodation and transport will be provided.
