Receptionist/ Admin Assistant
6 Month FTC
£24,000 - £26,000

Our client, a Wealth Management firm, are looking for a proactive and organised receptionist/ administrative assistant to join their team on an initial 6-month fixed term contract in their York office. The successful candidate will be highly organised with excellent organisation skills and enjoy multitasking. Hours 9am-5pm.

What you’ll do

  • Providing exceptional front of house service
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors
  • Screening incoming calls and redirecting them to the appropriate colleague
  • Organising meeting rooms
  • Preparing documents
  • Supporting with projects as required
  • Ordering catering and preparing refreshments when necessary
  • Managing incoming and outcoming post and ensuring distributed across in a timely manner
  • Ad hoc administrative support 

What you’ll need

  • Previous corporate receptionist experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Great communication skills
  • Capable of working under pressure
  • Proactive nature
  • Good use of initiative
  • Efficient problem solver
  • High attention to detail
