Reception / Admin Assistant
£14 - 15ph

A City based Asset Management firm are looking for a Receptionist to join their team to provide all-round administrative and front of house support. This is a busy role that offers lots of variety and so requires a receptionist/admin assistant who enjoys multi-tasking, is highly organised and importantly, has excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will join on an initial 6 month FTC with the potential to convert permanently. 

Hours 9am – 5:30pm.

What you’ll do:

  • Greeting clients and visitors and assisting them with any requirements
  • Organise meeting rooms
  • Answering phones both internal and external and ensuring messages are relayed in a timely manner
  • Providing administrative support across departments when required
  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors
  • Responsible for booking and management of meeting rooms and organising refreshments
  • Answering and managing phone calls and mailboxes and redirecting to the appropriate team member
  • General office and reception management
  • General admin support as needed i.e. updating and editing documents, photocopying, organising taxis and courier
  • Managing office supplies and ensuring cost effective inventory levels are maintained
  • Logging invoices and sending invoices to the Account Payable department


What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 2 years office experience
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and adaptable with other systems
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organized
  • A positive 'can do' attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills
