About the company: Our client is a leading investment firm specializing in private equity investments across various sectors. With a strong track record of successful transactions and portfolio management, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Equity Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview: As a Private Equity Analyst you will play a pivotal role in evaluating, executing, and managing buy-side and sell-side transactions within the private equity space. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in buy-side and sell-side deal evaluations, robust technical skills, and a proven ability to maintain post-transaction relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis for potential investment opportunities in Entertainment, Food and Beverage, Healthcare, Technology, Media, and other relevant sectors.
  • Assist in structuring and executing buy-side and sell-side transactions, including valuation modeling, financial analysis, and deal documentation.
  • Develop financial models to assess investment opportunities, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and investment return projections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential portfolio companies and contribute to investment recommendations.
  • Monitor and manage the post-transaction relationship with portfolio companies, tracking performance, identifying value creation opportunities, and providing ongoing support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that could impact investment strategies and decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members in the preparation of investor presentations, fund performance reports, and other relevant communication materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in private equity, with a focus on buy-side and sell-side transactions and evaluations.
  • Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
  • Qualified for Capital Market Exam 1 & 4 or possess a CFA qualification with CME 1 qualification.
  • Extensive experience and expertise in the Private Equity sector, with a proven track record of successful deal executions and portfolio management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of investment analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex financial concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Entertainment, Food and Beverage, Healthcare, Technology, and Media industries.
  • Minimal exposure (not more than 10%) to real estate funding within a Private Equity portfolio.
