People Manager FTC
London (City of) SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000 PER: Annum TERM: Contract
My client is a highly reputable hospitality business looking for a People Manager to support their London and UK operation. This role will be on a full-time basis, in central London, initially for a 3-6 month FTC, with a view to going permanent after that. Please note this is an urgent role with an immediate start, and you MUST have a hospitality/events background to apply
The key role responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the full recruitment, onboarding and offboarding lifecycle
- Implementing and updating company policies and procedures in line with UK and international employment law
- Update employee database (Deputy) and the HR database (BambooHR) and ensure you liaise with managers to ensure everything on the systems relating to their teams is up to date
- Coaching managers on best practice and ER matters
- Liaise with finance to oversee weekly and monthly payroll as well as pension, reward and benefits programmes
- Learning and development- maintain and improve upon training programmes that exist within the business, and look for ways to add value
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 5+ years working within a senior HR Generalist position within Hospitality or Events
- Immediately available or on very short notice
- Able to commit for the full duration of the contract and looking to stay on as a permanent employee
- High volume recruitment experience including interviewing and direct sourcing
- Ideally CIPD Qualified
- Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
- Strong understanding of UK and international employment law
