Part time Laundress, NW London, £40,000 (pro rata)

I have just taken on the following role for an experienced, part-time laundress for an UHNW Private Household located in Hammersmith, North-West London

This role reports in to the Head Housekeeper and House manager, who are looking to secure an experienced Laundress who can deliver exceptional levels of laundry service

The Principals are a really lovely family, consisting of a husband and wife and two children. The family often entertain which in turn increases the amount of laundry, hence for the need for a part-time laundress

Hours can be flexible, starting at 15 hours per week ideally over Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with room for overtime when the family entertain

Salary £40k per annum (pro rata)

You would be working in a well-equipped laundry room consisting of a steamer, two professional irons, two ironing tables, three washing machines and three dryers

The Laundress should work to a super-high standard. Knowledge of fine fabrics and understanding of stain removal is a must, along with meticulous attention to detail, especially when it comes to ironing

There is a separate team of housekeepers working within the household; and there may be an opportunity to assist with the team with cleaning, packing and wardrobe rotation etc as the role develops

The team currently working within the household is fantastic and there is a nice atmosphere within the home. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition and look to become part of this team.
