MRC Technician- Electronics

Our client is seeking a Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration (MRC) Technician responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and calibration of equipment and machinery in various industries.
- Equipment Maintenance: MRC Technicians are tasked with routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Repair: When equipment malfunctions or breaks down, MRC Technicians diagnose the issue and perform the necessary repairs. This may involve replacing faulty components, conducting tests, and verifying that the equipment meets specifications.
- Calibration: Calibration is a critical aspect of maintaining precision in measurement instruments and control systems. MRC Technicians calibrate various devices to ensure accuracy and consistency in their readings.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implementing scheduled maintenance routines to prevent equipment failure and prolong the lifespan of machinery is a common responsibility. This involves conducting regular inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Documentation: MRC Technicians often maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration procedures. Accurate documentation is essential for tracking equipment history and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations is crucial in many industries. MRC Technicians must follow safety protocols while performing maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: MRC Technicians may collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other professionals to understand equipment requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
At least 2 years solid field service experience performing installations, preventative maintenance
Basic understanding of competitors and typical industry practices
Must be able to read wiring diagrams, and be familiar with low voltage electricity/electronics
High Voltage/ Low Voltage practical experience (optional)
Trained and Certified Technicians
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
