Luxury Retail Doorman

We're currently seeking a Luxury Retail Doorman for a prestigious fine wine and spirits store located in Knightsbridge. In this role, you will collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers, staff, and high-value products. This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, secure environment for all visitors. We encourage the candidate to bring their unique personality to the role. Duties involve maintaining a visible presence on the shop floor to deter theft and ensure the safety of both customers and staff. You will also be stationed at the store entrance, greeting every customer, opening the door for them, and assisting with any needs, such as helping them to their car or offering an umbrella when needed.

Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Doorman in a retail or hotel setting, ideally within the luxury industry.
SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is required.
Strong observational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential security risks and respond effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, staff, and law enforcement.
Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is a plus.
