I am currently recruiting for a unique role as Logistics Manager for a fast-growing, children’s toy start-up company. They are an award-winning business who have just opened a new warehouse in the UK, so are looking for a Logistics Manager to support their Head of Operations. They have a dynamic culture, with lots of opportunity for growth and development.

This is an ongoing temporary role, but they are looking for someone to join their team on a permanent basis, as they want someone to start ASAP. 

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for supporting daily operations, flow and logistics of key account orders
  • Manage outbound shipments and respond to shipment issues
  • Provide high quality service to all stakeholders
  • Act as liaison between third parties and the company for fulfilment, packaging and shipping
  • Oversee order fulfilment process
  • Work closely with supply chain team in Germany
  • Produce reports on stock allocations
  • Monitor stock levels and allocations between channels
  • Ensure storage space is optimised
  • Provide third parties with outbound and inbound shipment forecasts
  • Review customer delivery guidelines/requirements
  • Process and manage product requests

Who you are:

  • Ambitious and experienced – with at least 3 years’ experience in operations and logistics
  • Collaborative team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment undergoing rapid growth
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience working with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, warehouse operations and inventory management procedures
  • Self-starter who is not afraid to dive in
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • A team player with great interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
