Live-in Housekeeper / Cook

UK (Regional) SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent
Our clients are looking for a live-in Housekeeper for their property in Virginia Water, which features a pool, gym, and multiple living areas. The housekeeper will work alongside other household staff within the main residence. On-site accommodation is provided.
Key Duties:
- Perform all housekeeping tasks to an exceptionally high standard, including cleaning and caring for fine finishes, materials, and furniture, as well as laundering vintage clothing, occasionally by hand.
- Prepare daily and batch meals for the family when they are not traveling.
- Run household errands locally.
- Travel with the principals to their European residence as needed.
- Work frequently (weekly or fortnightly) at their flat in SW5.
- Assist with any other domestic duties to ensure the smooth running of the property, such as granting access to contractors during the week, in coordination with the family assistant.
- Collect and drop off clients at London Heathrow Airport when required (approximately 20 minutes from the property). A car will be provided for such business use.
The workload will vary throughout the year, depending on the clients' schedule. Some periods may be more demanding with longer hours, balanced by quieter periods with fewer hours and days in lieu.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Confident in cooking.
- Must be a driver (a vehicle can be provided).
- Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus but not essential.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm, with weekend availability when the principals are in residence. Weekends worked will be compensated with midweek time off.
Accommodation: A self-contained flat/annex on-site, including a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen/living area.
