My client is looking for a Legal Counsel to work inhouse to join their growing team.  The role is full time in the office, and they are seeking a Legal Counsel to manage a variety of legal domains concentrating on transaction law and corporate law.   

It is essential to have experience working in a law firm or in-house within their legal department. Specalising in transaction law and corporate law

Candidates outside of Dubai will not be considered.

Duties Include:

• Provide advice and guidance on a broad range of legal issues, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, compliance matters, and contract negotiation.
•  Liaise with external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure coherent and consistent legal support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and training.
• Manage legal risks by designing and implementing processes to ensure the company's operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements.

Requirements 

• Law Degree from an accredited law school.
• 5 to 7 years of professional legal experience, with a proven track record in transaction law and corporate law.
• Experience in transaction law and corporate law.
• Previous experience in both a law firm and a corporate legal department or family office is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Common Law principles is highly desirable.
• Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
