IT Support Engineer

Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for an experiecned Technical Support Engineer to join a Swiss Digital bank in their Zurich office.

The successful candidate will combine a strong background in IT Support with Cloud based knowledge and an ability to work in a fast paced enviornment.

Main responsibilities

  • Monitor comprehensive SIAM operations and ensure delivery from both in-house IT and external suppliers' networks to maintain a reliable and high-quality service experience.
  • Responsible for daily operations focused on delivering high quality, proactive support and service   
  • Evaluate and prioritize customer support cases
  • Quick and accurate resolution of technical issues to minimize disruption to bank operations and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and document incidents thoroughly, analyze root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as software development, data engineering, IT, third-party providers, business and product development to enhance overall system functionality and user experience.              
  • Continuously seek ways to improve technical support processes and services through feedback, technology upgrades, and innovative solutions.
  • Monitor technical support performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met and service quality is maintained.

Your skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Infrastructure Services
  • Experience in using SIAM methodologies and good knowledge of ITSM/SIAM tools
  • Experience in monitoring modern Cloud infrastructures and developing and maintaining workflows over multiple systems
  • Hands on experience with SQL required
  • Previous relevant experiences with CI/CD and monitoring tools 
  • Good understanding of web Services, API and IP based protocols
  • Fluency in English, German language of advantage          
  • Strong interpersonal skills,
  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
