US SALARY: $75,000 - $100,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

I am working on an exciting opportunity as an IT Specialist / Manager to join my client's marketing and advertising firm, as solo support for their New York office!  They are a boutique global creative agency that is fuelled by a diverse network of creators, makers, and media.  They are looking for someone to assist them with high-quality IT maintenance and troubleshooting, acting as the primary point of contact for the IT and Technical Support help desk.  Knowledge in enterprise IT management and strong Mac/ Apple iOS experience is key!

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage IT requests in the ticket system
• Weekly meetings with the IT manager
• Maintain software to uphold licensing compliance and security
• Develop documents and tutorials to communicate to staff on technology usage
• Update any changes using IT Knowledgebase in OneNote and server documentation
• Provide cost-efficiency IT solutions including budget management

Key Technical Skills:

• Apple Mac Experience
• Firewalls and Networking
• (network) Meraki
• Wi-Fi network configuration
• Conference Call Equipment (Logitech)
• Windows Active Directory
• Azure Active Directory
• Office 365
• JAMF / Munki / Kandji
• Dropbox
• Adobe products 

Maintenance:

• Daily checks on regular tech use (printers, boardrooms, etc.)
• Implementation of policy and process
• Item repairs

Technical

• Support and secure wifi, internet, email services, mobile, and desktop devices
• Provide support via phone, email, web, and face-to-face
• Manage workstations, telephony, storage, hardware, and other services
• Oversee maintenance and structured cabling

Project planning

• At the start of each year, assess technical initiatives and enhancements, upgrades, and acquisitions for the yearly IT budget and plan
• Use appropriate rollback mechanisms to avoid disruptions and data loss

Qualifications:

• MAC Experience 
• Knowledge in Enterprise Management 
• Implementation of global technology systems
• Ability to gain an understanding of company structure, working processes, business objectives, legacy systems, network installations, and configurations
• Thorough understanding of technical management, data analysis, and hardware/software systems
• Proven project management and delivery experience
• Using the group's business units to standardize fundamental technologies and IT processes
