Investor Relations Assistant – rapidly growing firm

London (City of) SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced EA to join a world-leading private equity firm as part of the growing Investor Relations team. This is a great opening for someone with experience working in an IR team or a strong EA with an interest in IR. You will be working with an incredibly busy and growing team. The manager is supportive, passionate, and inspiring. This is a full-time permanent role with fantastic benefits.

The Role:

The main responsibility for this role is to support the Head of IR and the wider team. You will be involved in the organisation of investor events including roadshows and conferences as well as updating the database and managing diaries across the team.

This is a growing IR team that work in a dynamic and high energy environment. They work closely with teams across the business as well as external suppliers. You will also build relationships with the other EAs and PAs across the business to provide administrative support. Duties include:

  • Assisting the IR team with events and roadshows
  • Preparation of board and investor reports 
  • Managing presentation materials on PowerPoint
  • Creating marketing material with support from the external marketing team
  • Scheduling meetings and managing diaries
  • Updating and maintaining the client database
  • Preparing social media posts across several platforms
  • Supporting the ESG team with their data collection

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate is proactive and detail-orientated with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar EA role. You will have an understanding of the role that IR plays in a corporate firm and an interest in becoming part of an established but developing department. Financial sector experience is desirable, but not essential.

Essential Skills:

  • 3-4 years as an EA in a corporate environment
  • Interest and/or experience in investor relations
  • An eye for detail and good follow up
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Excel
