Internal Commercial Recruiter – Fintech start-up

London (City of) SALARY: £60,000 - £80,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

Our client is a fascinating fintech start-up, seeking a passionate and ambitious Commercial Recruiter to join their dynamic team and focus on the business side of talent. This role is on a full-time, permanent basis, with flexible, hybrid or remote working. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-developing tech company at the early stages of growth, and work alongside some of the most progressive and specialized people in the Tech industry.

The key role responsibilities include:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from initial strategy meetings with hiring managers, to sourcing/screening,facilitating offers and closing candidates
  • Direct sourcing and pipelining talent at all levels, specifically for head office and commercial roles
  • Working closely with relevant areas of the business to understand their recruitment needs, and to streamline the existing recruitment framework, and processes
  • Oversee a detail-oriented process, ensuring no conversation or open position slips through the net and provide exceptional service to all candidates  
  • Genuinely care about the employee and candidate experience, with a warm, heartfelt and solution focussed approach 
  • Clear understanding of GDPR, ETW and compliance regulations

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record working in recruitment or talent, specifically across: sales, marketing and partnerships.
  • Ideally a least 1 year of internal experience, but open to exceptional talent from agency background if you embody their values
  • Well versed in best talent practices 
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload using initiative
  • Impeccable stakeholder management skills
  • High level of Emotional Intelligence
