Internal Careers Coach

My client, a globally renowned management consulting firm, are seeking a passionate and driven internal Careers Coach, to provide coaching and a strategic placement service for employees within, and exiting the business.  You will design, plan, advise, deliver, coach and facilitate suitable career development activities through a variety of initiatives. This role will be on a full-time permanent basis, with a hybrid work pattern from their amazing central London offices.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

• You will coach and develop employees across all levels and functions, with a focus on individual's goals and strengths and their career purpose
• Obtain knowledge of employee career interests and awareness of current job market and trends, to match people with potential roles and ensuring all staff have a breadth of opportunities available to them when they leave
• Conduct and provide full job search support including interview preparation, CVs, and cover letters analysis and offer negotiation for employees who are exiting the business
• Analytical approach: able to utilise data to report to stakeholders  
• Partner with colleagues across locations within your region, to ensure processes are optimized and launch best practices
• Manage and drive internal career projects across the business

Skills and experience required:

• Proven track record in a hands-on Coaching or HR/Learning & Development position, preferably in a fast-paced professional services environment
• Master’s degree or equivalent is desirable
• Experience with implementing and managing HR projects across regions and jurisdictions  
• Excellent UK labour law knowledge
• Naturally people centric, with a pastoral and passionate approach
• Skilled in engaging and managing senior stakeholders relationships
• Fluent in French – desirable but not essential
