HR Manager (Tech Start-Up)

Dubai, UAE SALARY: 15,000 AED - 18,000 AED PER: Month TERM: Permanent
*Candidates must have experience working for a tech start-up in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the needs of the internet startup industry, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
3. Oversee and execute payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Administer benefits programs and coordinate open enrollment processes.
5. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
6. Maintain and update employee records and HR systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
7. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and record-keeping requirements.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in employment laws and regulations, and proactively recommend necessary changes to company policies and practices.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and legal, to ensure alignment and consistency in HR-related matters.
10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
2. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
3. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
4. Experience managing payroll and other HR-related functions on a daily basis.
5. Proven track record of successfully implementing and administering HR policies, procedures, and programs.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with employees at all levels.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
9. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide innovative HR solutions that align with business objectives.
10. Passion for the internet startup industry and prior experience with internet startups, ecommerce companies, tech and marketing hiring, gaming company, consulting background will be a big plus.
