Tiger is working with a global theatre, acoustic, and digital consultancy to help them source an experience HR Manager to join the team as soon as possible.  They are a welcoming company who like to promote a fun yet hard-working culture.  This is a people-focused role where you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and play a key role in developing and administering their HR and recruitment systems and processes.

My client is a relationship-driven, diverse, creative environment, who needs someone who is responsive and reliable and enjoys working for an innovative company. You will have an understanding of the work they do and will be able to convey this internally and externally.

Duties include:

  • Overall responsibility for all HR matters for North American employees, including employment policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing payroll and rewards/benefits programs in liaison with their Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
  • Support leadership on recruitment strategy and facilitating hires of qualified job applicants for open positions; new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Managing, developing, and championing workplace diversity, equity and inclusion, and cultural and safety initiatives.
  • Research, propose and develop and support on HR initiatives with leadership, including best practice and compliance matters (in conjunction with PEO).

Candidate profile

  • 3+ years’ HR experience
  • Experience working within a creative company or similar environment
  • Able to work successfully on own initiative, as well as part of a local and global team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload, delegating where appropriate, sometimes in a pressured environment; meet deadlines; maintain both perspective and a sense of humor.
