HR Generalist – Financial Services

London (West End) SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

My client is a highly reputable, financial services company looking for an experienced and capable HR Generalist. This role will be on a full-time basis, initially working from home, but moving to a full-time office role following restrictions being lifted.

The key role responsibilities include:

  • Working as part of an HR team of four, supporting less than 300 employees globally
  • Overseeing the full HR Remit – first point of contact for all employee matters
  • Full life cycle – recruitment, contracts and offers, onboarding, training, all the way through to offboarding
  • Implementing and updating company policies and procedures in line with changing UK legislation
  • Reporting responsibilities including producing accurate reports for the Directors
  • Monthly payroll submissions to external supplier, also overseeing all benefits, pensions auto enrolment and any reward matters too

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 3+ years working within a similar position, ideally within Financial Services
  • Strong Admin and Organisational skills – ideally started career as a PA
  • A degree in HR, or CIPD qualification
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and intuition
  • Tech savvy, with an understanding of HRIS
  • Strong understanding of UK and international employment law
