HR Generalist – Architecture

London (City of) SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

My client is a highly reputable architecture firm in the City, looking for an experienced and capable HR Generalist. This role will be on a full-time basis, three days a week from the office and two from home, with a great approach to flexible working and some incredible company benefits too. You will be working as part of a team of three, with one above and one below you.

The key role responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the full HR Remit – first point of contact for all employee matters
  • Full life cycle – recruitment, contracts and offers, onboarding, training, all the way through to offboarding
  • Full responsibility for manager training and development
  • Implementing and updating company policies and procedures in line with changing UK legislation
  • Handling all complex ER cases from disciplinaries, grievances as well as adept at conflict resolution
  • Monthly payroll submissions to external supplier, also overseeing all benefits, pensions auto enrolment and any reward matters too
  • Looking for ways to improve on employee wellbeing, and how HR can support

 
Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 4+ years working within a similar position
  • Experience working within Architecture, or Creative Industries
  • A degree in HR, or CIPD level 7
  • Self-starter – highly proactive and ‘plugged in’ to the wider HR community
  • Tech savvy, with an understanding of HRIS
  • Strong understanding of UK and international employment law
