London (City of) SALARY: £90,000 - £120,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent
My client is a highly reputable financial services firm of less than 50 employees based in the UK, looking for an experienced HR Director to support their UK employees. This role will be on a full time, based fully in the office and reporting directly to the Managing Director and will require previous experience working in Asset Management.
The key role responsibilities include:
- This is a true generalist position. You will oversee the full employee life cycle, onboarding and offboarding lifecycle
- Full recruitment process accountability, including coaching line managers on best practice and process to secure the best candidates on the market
- Updating company policies and procedures in line with UK employment law
- Maintaining the FCA compliance trackers including SMCR, compliance, and other record keeping
- Manging all employee relations issues as they arise in a professional and discreet manner
- Closely align with business leaders to manage the performance of the workforce by closely monitoring performance reviews, probation reviews, exit interviews
- Take an active role in all learning and development and training needs for the employees from intern level upwards
Skills and experience required:
- Proven track record operating at a senior level in HR within Financial Services
- Previous experience in a standalone position is advantageous
- Impeccable professionalism and stakeholder management skills
- CIPD Qualified to level 5 or a bachelor’s degree in HR
- Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
- Tech savvy, with experience in using various HRIS and advanced excel skills.
