HR Business Partner – TUPE Expert – Financial Services

London (City of) SALARY: £80,000 - £90,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

Our client, a multi-national financial services firm, are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join their team and assist with both generalist and strategic support for a workforce spanning multiple UK locations. On offer for the ideal candidate is a competitive salary and benefits package as well as a hybrid working environment. Based in City of London, the role will require travel to regional sites on occasion.

Key roles & responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted, key point-of-contact for line managers and heads of business on all HR matters
  • Taking lead on complex employee relation cases when required, including disciplinaries and grievances
  • Partnering with other HR Business Partners on major operational projects including TUPE transfers and redundancies, as well as strategic projects to aid both people and organisational wellbeing
  • Supporting in a range of employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
  •  Ensuring that all HR policies and procedures are in line with current UK employment laws

Skills and experienced required:

  • Proven track record working in HR at management or BP level previously
  • Prior exposure to TUPE projects – this is essential
  • Thorough understanding of UK employment law and Employee relations
  • Extremely organised with the ability to prioritise workload, whilst remaining flexible
  • Self-motivated and passionate about delivering a high-quality service and experience for employee body
  • Logical problem solver with great situational judgement and use of own initiative, ability to make informed decisions and deliver effective solutions  
  • Exceptional Stakeholder management experience
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Prior exposure to a corporate or financial services environment would be ideal
