HR Business Partner – Flexible role in a nice creative company
UK (regional) SALARY: £55,000 - £60,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent
Our client are a highly established name within the field of design and home interiors, and they are looking for a bright and proactive HR Business Partner to deliver operational strategy within the group. This role will be on a full-time and permanent basis, with hybrid working available. The role will be part-based in the Loughborough, with regular travel required to the company’s various regional sites in Milton Keynes and Lancaster. A generous car allowance of 5k is included in the package
The role in more detail -
- Acting in a leadership capacity to the HR operations team, developing, implementing and evaluating people-focused processes and procedures which adhere to the company’s broader values
- Acting as a key support for line management and business heads on the full range of HR issues including performance management and also the rolling-out and execution of policies
- Collaborating with various heads of department to continually improve HR processes including people management, employee lifecycle and succession planning to ensure a cohesive delivery of policy
- Creating and delivering major HR projects in response to identifying HR needs within the business, including but not limited to reward, employee engagement, and change management
- Producing regular HR reports to inform the business on progress and developments, drawing on metric-based insights as evidence
Requirements and Skills:
- A strong generalist, with proven experience working in HR at an advisory level
- Experience in operating within a diverse range of organisations, including start-ups and businesses of a larger scale
- A strong track record in championing diversity and inclusion within the workplace
- An ability to critically evaluate functions and data within the workplace in which HR processes can add value
- Excellent communication abilities, written and verbal, with an ability to influence and be persuasive with a variety of stakeholders within the business
- Existing understanding of the unique needs of start-up organisations
- Strongly analytical, and able to extract key information from data to inform HR decisions and educate others
- A key understanding of the company’s culture and values and how this will inform HR practice
- Efficient and highly organised, adept at working in a fast-paced environment
