House Manager & Pet Caretaker

Our client a lovely, private, early retired couple in Las Vegas, Nevada are searching for a dedicated and animal loving House Manager & Pet Caretaker for their daily home operations while also creating a caring relationship with their beloved pet Cockatoo.

The Role
This role will mainly revolve around House Manager with Pet Caretaker duties as the couple would like to travel more. There will be fluidity as the couple’s schedule and requirements can change, but they want someone who is going to be caring and trusting with their exotic bird.

Responsibilities
Exotic Bird

• Bird handling
• Feeding and medication
• Cage cleaning
• Companionship
• Travel support as needed
• Overnight stays

Household

• Maintenance support – working with vendors
• Vehicle maintenance
• Expense reporting
• Errands and grocery shopping
• Meal & snack prep
• Inventory and stocking pantry
• Mail and packages
• Cleaning and laundry
• Vendor management
• House sitting
• Project management

Candidate
Their ideal candidate would be someone with at least 3 + years of experience in private house management. Must be an animal lover – experience with exotic birds is a plus. Comfortable with meal and menu planning, hands no approach with a no job is to small or large attitude. Service oriented but friendly – knowing when to provide privacy. Comfortable with flexibility and staying and starting late occasionally. Must also be fully COVID vaccinated.
