Hotel General Manager – Dublin

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated general manager. My client is one of the most iconic hotels in Dublin, which offers a warm and glamorous environment, tasty food and uniquely decorated hotel rooms.

The salary is €100,000 + benefits

This will be a varied role but essentially you will:

• Be responsible for running efficiently all the hotel’s operational departments
• Comply with the company Guest Service policy by ensuring that guests are always a priority, anticipating their needs & responding appropriately to queries, requests and complaints.
• Demonstrate in your role an understanding of the company vision and support their mission.
• Ensure revenue is maximised throughout the business, through efficient yield, upselling and revenue management.
• Work in conjunction with the senior team to develop a strategic business plan and ensure that the current business plan is implemented and followed through.
• Manage and conduct work activities in such a way as to ensure safety, health and welfare at work of all colleagues and guests.

Previous qualification and skills:

• 3 years of experience in a previous role
• You have great communication, management and leadership skills
• You have a proven record of working to and reaching KPI’s in the hospitality industry
• You are customer and people oriented and you have an approachable personality

Ideally you have previously worked for a large, well-established and sophisticated company and you have good understanding of this type of business.
