Health and Safety Manager

London (City of) SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent

My client is a highly reputable global live events company looking for a Head of Health and Safety to support their London and global offices as well as all site projects. This role will be on a full-time basis, based out of their London global headquarters

The key role responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the full health and safety department
  • Implementing and updating company policies and procedures in line with UK and international law
  • Overseeing and managing all Health and safety, and compliance (including all risk assessments) for UK and International projects
  • Work closely with project leaders to ensure you are in the loop and they are aware of the requirements for their projects
  • Create all relevant training documents and programmes for the company, including a tracker system for managing timescales and attendance

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 3+ years working within a similar position
  • Line management experience preferred
  • General NEBOSH certified
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
  • Experience working within live events industry is essential
  • Strong understanding of UK and international employment law
