UK (Regional) SALARY: £90,000 - £110,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent
My client, a manufacturing company are looking to hire an experienced Head of People to drive their HR agenda forward. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves to get ‘stuck in’ and is passionate about strategically putting people at the heart of everything. This role is based in Newcastle, however requires occasional travel to sites in Europe.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic business partner on all things people and culture
- Advise and support on processes relating to recruitment, selection and retention
- Evaluate learning and development demands, ensuring that performance and development are a priority
- To work closely with the CEO on the company’s benefits framework ensuring alinement with the company’s financial targets
- Work closely with business leaders and managers to deliver effective and engaging leadership coaching on; ER, compliance and performance management
- To champion internal values and D&I initiatives across board
Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience working as a Head of People
- Must be fluent in English and Polish
- Hold a relevant Degree or HR qualification
- Ability to communicate across all levels, establishing trust and respect
- Strong understanding of employment law and GDPR
- Impeccable time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
