Growth / Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) Officer

Middle East SALARY: 13,000 AED - 17,000 AED PER: Month TERM: Permanent

The CRO Officer is responsible for implementing, running, executing and evaluating A/B and MV tests across the CRO programme setting up solutions and supporting the team in creating digital strategies and experiences to optimise conversion. Must have a strong experience in A/B testing, website analytics, and conversion projects focused on improving the digital portfolio. The CRO Officer will be working alongside a team of designers, developers, and digital product officers to help deliver all CRO initiatives.

Responsible for test monitoring and reporting daily with flawless program execution ensuring test meet stated objectives delivering high impact results. This role will actively analyse experiment data, proactively looking for early insights, flagging experiments of concern and generating KPI reports, visualisations and recommendations.

  • Create reports through Google Analytics, Optimizely and other behavioural analytics tools such as Dynamic Yield to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders as well as derive learnings to improve overall understanding of our test impact and customer audiences.
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of ongoing test pipeline, extracting status data from experimentation tools, documenting and visualising customer behaviour in reports for our team and brand team’s support
  • Together with CRO team support to develop high-impact concepts for testing based on quantitative and qualitative user insights
  • Working closely with CRO manager prioritise ideas according to scope and targets.
  • Auditing our own ecommerce sites as well as competitors to materialise conversion opportunities and customer pain points.
  • Manage and update programme backlog documenting requirements and liaising with all CRO department members
  • Maintain our test set-up in Analytics and other tracking tools, keeping a close overview of funnels and testing
  • Assure quality of our experiments and product launches (visual, logic and functional acceptance criteria)
  • Promote a culture of testing and measuring all changes across our digital footprint

CRO Programmed Execution

  • Develop, set up and execute A/B and multivariate tests to support the ongoing CRO programs.
  • Working with CRO manager to develop testing hypotheses – utilize user research and analysis to provide recommendation to improve and drive conversion and performance
  • Manage CRO JIRA boards and managing testing timelines
  • Support the Product designers & CRO Manager in maintaining the CRO development roadmap for successful tests in coordination with other E-Commerce teams
  • Support Testing, validation and refinement of our solutions in preparation for build, working with global eCommerce to ensure that all new designs and improvements adhere to guidelines / limitations
  • Work closely with the Platform product Manager and officers to ensure improvements for our tools are prioritized for development and communicate timelines to the rest of the team

Business Analysis & Insight reporting

  • Qual and quant analysis – continuously aiming to identify customer journey issues / opportunities
  • Interpret customer data, applying knowledge of web analytics and user segments as they relate to the optimization, experimentation and personalisation process.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, best practice, consumer experience research and new technologies.
  • Gather ideas and build concepts for CRO activity using a data-driven approach
  • Research and present opportunities working with data, insights and relevant business units to identify key areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Determine potential impact and suitability of all projects according to business needs.
  • Measure and report on effectiveness
  • Triggering analysis for experiments of concern and change management on successful experiments.
  • Monitoring active experiments
  • Using data-driven insights to recommend future experiments
  • Planning and auditing A/B tests while continually measuring the performance of live pipeline
  • Working closely with Senior CRO manager, configuring the goals and performing experiments set-up extracting information from, Analytics tools, as well as CRO tools.
  • Doing Rapid testing, support qualitative and quantitative user testing.
  • Optimize internal operations in the experimentation process and set up
  • Helping to create, track and optimize main test goals and KPIs for our initiatives
  • Monitor conversion rate and identify any challenges or opportunities
  • Building and maintaining KPI dashboards - Use data visualisation best practices to communicate test results to internal stakeholders
  • Performing in-depth competitor eCommerce brands research and analysis


  • Own the day-to-day test monitoring written updates for internal and external stakeholders ensuring the correct functioning of the CRO ongoing initiatives.
  • Support CRO manager with strategic product delivery by coordinating with all the domains to ensure our solutions are feasible and viable according to expected timelines
  • Working with stakeholders across multi-disciplined teams will tailor communications and reports to specific audiences.

Key Skills

  • You have experience 1.5+ years in a similar role
  • You are passionate about and have a good understanding of experimentation and have some knowledge in analytics, customer behaviour, UX or technical background etc.
  • You have experience in using tools for CRO like Google Analytics, Optimizely Dynamic Yield, etc.
  • Report and dashboarding experience
  • A natural Growth Hacker interested in challenges, effectiveness, and finding new undiscovered ways
  • You are good at reading data, analysing it, and creating data-based reports
  • You have at least basic understanding of programming fundamentals
  • You believe that you have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • A driven, proactive individual interested in self-improvement, eCommerce and digital technologies, keeping up to date with all the latest CRO / UX technology and methodologies, always striving to improve the CRO offering and contribute to business development
  • Familiar with audience segmentation, personalisation & audience-based testing.

 Preferred Skills

  • Front end coding experience would be advantageous
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification.
  • Experience of using marketing research tools
  • Experience of MENA markets.
