Financial Project Leader for Group Finance

Overview

On behalf of our client, an international insurance company, we are looking for an experienced Financial Business Consultant / Project Leader who has knowledge of Group Reporting and is able to take on a project that will implement a new Group wide Chart of Accounts

This is a 16-month contract based in Zurich or possibly Frankfurt with 20-30% travel required to the other location

Main responsibilities

• Definition, alignment and implementation of a new group-wide Chart of Accounts which takes into account HGB, IFRS 17 and FINMA requirements.
• Understanding the existing Group CoA structure for FINMA and IFRS 17
• Interact independently to define the CoA and independently perform the necessary reconciliations.
• Work closely with one or two central contacts in Frankfurt, Zurich and Dublin.
• Development of training materials and execution of trainings to employees following the implementation.

Your skills:

• A minimum of 3-5 yrs of relevant working experience and knowledge understanding a Chart of Accounts, IFRS 17, FINMA as well as HGB.
• Strong finance and ideally insuranceknowledge
• Familiar with transition proceses of Group reporting GAAP
• Experience in developing a new Group CoA
• Strong HGB skills (definition of mapping requirements)
• Strong, professional communication skills and stakeholder management
• Focus on details, strong delivery, logical reasoning
• Ability to document results in blueprints
• Fluent in German and English
