Finance Supervsior

A leading niche property services company is currently hiring for a Finance Supervisor to oversee both the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Culture and values are just as important to the company as experience. The company is going through a strong period of growth opening further offices across the UK and Europe.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams you will have a broad scope of responsibilities including:

• Complete the daily bank summary and manage the balances
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable ensuring targets are met
• Analyse live data and produce reports for senior management
• Create and improve processes and systems for both accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Deal with complaints within the team and externally with guardians
• Monitor the status of ‘Payment Plan’, ‘Notice to Quit’ and ‘Legal’ 
• Liaise with other Supervisors to rectify issues between departments
• Supervises team members in duties and performance providing weekly feedback
• Motivate, guide, and mentor team members to exceed KPIs 
• Train new team members in accordance with the company’s culture
• Ensure adherence to company policies undertaking disciplinary action if needed
• Carry out a daily huddle with the team
• Carry out Appraisals and set SMART objectives to monitor KPI progress

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

• Previous experience as a supervisor in a finance department
• Exceptionally confident communication skills at all levels
• Experience using all Microsoft Office programs especially Excel
• Ability to manage tasks without supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle high levels of pressure
• Good investigative and research skills

WHAT YOU WILL GET

• £30,000-£35,000 per annum
• Chance to earn additional bonuses via a weekly questionnaire
