Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to work at a dynamic and growing TV production company.  Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the successful individual will play a key role in the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Manage a small team of Finance Assistants to ensure all processes up are to date
• Oversee all aspects of financial management accounting
• Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries
• Preparation and review of P&L and Balance Sheet
• Analyse financial reports and post any adjustments
• Reviewing and posting journals where necessary
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare intercompany transactions for posting
• Production Cost Monitor reconciliations
• Prepare and review the Corporation Tax requirements
• Prepare statutory accounts for review and filing
• Responsibility for managing relevant financial/accounting software
• Sole responsibility for the Financial Accounting of a subsidiary business
• Ad-hoc reporting for senior management team
• Other ad hoc duties to support the Head of Finance

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

Qualifications / Education:
• Qualified or near completion of CIMA or ACCA

Key skill and competency requirements:
• Team player with strong team management and leadership qualities
• The ability to delegate and manage the work of others
• An analytical approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively
• Advanced Excel skills

WHAT YOU WILL GET:

• £45 - 55k depending on experience
